Ultrasonic Welding

Ultrasonic welding is a particular joining technique procedure. For these joining processes for thermoplastic materials we weld the required parts with microprocessor-controlled welding systems with a generator output from 1000 to 3000 Watt. Therefore a sound vibration is coupled into an adherend through a sonotrode. This sound energy is then through targeted joining seam geometry converted into heat in order to achieve the plasticization in the joint zone.
